How much does UK delivery cost?

Gurkha Tea offers free standard (3-5 working days) delivery on selected items and free standard delivery on all orders over £15.00. For all other orders delivery charge of £2.99 for Standard or £3.99 for 1-2 days delivery will be applied during checkout.

How much does International delivery cost?

International delivery will vary according to region. The delivery charge will be displayed during the checkout process before you place your order.

How long does delivery take?

Within the UK Standard delivery takes around 3-5 working days and 1st Class takes around 1-2 working days. International Standard takes around 5-10 working days days. If you need a faster delivery please email us.

Are the delivery trackable?

All international delivery will be trackable, along with UK order over £100.00. If you need a trackable delivery service please email us

My delivery is late / My delivery hasn't arrived / I think my delivery is lost.

During busy time courier services may take longer than their advertised time, especially during christmas and local holidays. We advise you wait a few more days, then contact us immediately.

When will my order be despatched?

We normally despatch your order within 1 working days. However during busy time it may take longer, up to 2 working days to despatch your order.

Can I make changes to the order? - Delivery address and other order details.

If you have entered the wrong delivery address, would like to change the delivery address or other order details please contact us immediately.

If the parcel is with us, we will be able to amend the address. However as we try to fulfil order as quickly as possible, it may be too late once the order has been handed over to the courier services.

How do I cancel my order?

Should you wish to cancel your order please contact us immediately with your order number and address.

If the order is in the process of being fulfilled we will cancel the order and issue you a full refund.

However if the order is in the process of being delivered, it will take longer as we have to wait until the items are returned back to us. If you are a UK customer you could refuse delivery and ask the delivery to be returned to the sender. Once we receive the Items we will issue you a refund of your order minus delivery charges.

Can I return my order?

If you are unhappy with your order, you can return unopened products within 30 days for a full refund, excluding our outward delivery costs.

How do I know my order is confirmed?

Once you place an order you will receive a confirmation email with your order details. Please check your details and email us immediately to amend any changes to your order.

How will I know when my order is dispatched?

You will receive an email once your order has been dispatched including tracking number (if applicable)

Why has my order been cancelled?

If your order has been cancelled please contact us immediately and will be happy to help.

Your order may have been cancelled if we are unable to validate your order details, as we take online security seriously we randomly carryout order verification which will require us to contact you to verify the order details.

Your order may also be cancelled in the unlikely event that your ordered items are out of stock, in this case full cost will be refunded.

Why does my order have amazon branding?

Your delivery may arrive in an Amazon branded packaging as some of our stock are being fulfilled via the Amazon fulfilment network.

If you made an order through our website and received the order via Amazon fulfilment network please contact us for any customer service you may require. If you place an order via Amazon then please contact Amazon or the seller respectively.

Why has my order arrived separately?

Sometimes orders are fulfilled via different warehouses and will be despatched separately.

I have received the wrong items / items are missing for my order. What should I do?

If you have received the wrong items or the your items are missing then contact us immediately with your order number. We will amend your order as quickly as possible.

Is the payment Process secure?

We do not store or have any access to your payment information other than the name and delivery address of your order.

We accepts all major credit and debit cards and bank payments. However it is best advised to complete payment process via our website to minimise delay to your order.

Where does Gurkha Tea come from?

Gurkha Tea comes exclusively from our farms in Shree Antu, Ilam, the most eastern tea growing district of Nepal

What is Single Origin tea?

This means our tea have a single source of origin. All the green leaves (wet leaves) used to produce our teas comes from a single garden (Single Estate) or cooperative gardens from Shree Antu Valley in Ilam Nepal.

At what altitude are Gurkha Tea products grown?

The garden elevation varies from 4000ft to 7000ft above sea level

Is there any caffeine in tea?

Tea naturally contains small amounts of caffeine, but these amounts vary according to plant, location, altitude and manufacturing process the tea has gone through.

Does your tea contain artificial flavour or additives?

No, we only use 100% natural ingredients.

Where are your tea manufactured?

All teas are manufactured in our garden factory; once the teas are plucked from the gardens they are processed immediately.

How should I store tea?

You should store tea in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odour. Foil pouches and kraft boxes should be stored in a drawer, cupboard or transferred to a tea caddy for better storage.

How long can I store tea?

Tea leaves can be stored for many years, however it’s best enjoyed within 6 months of opening as it may lose its freshness and flavour.
